Born in, raised and still residing in Belchertown, MA as a sixth-generation townie, Steven began his career path in construction as an 18-year-old, when he got a job as a mason tender to a remarkable local master mason who taught him the trade over a nine year period. The love affair with building things began and Steven pursued every aspect of residential, commercial, and institutional construction, eventually landing a 20-year stint as an Operations Manager at the University of MA. Longing to get back to his roots in residential construction, coupled with his interest in sustainable building brought him to Wright Builders. Steven spends his spare time with family and friends, playing in 2 local bands, golfing, and doing charitable work for the Shriners Children’s Hospital. Steven is also a lifetime member, Melvin Jones Award recipient and 2 times past president of the Belchertown Lions Club.
